Keeping your account details up to date means your invoices show the right name and address, our emails reach you, and we can confirm it is really you if you ever need help getting back in. Most details can be changed yourself in a minute.

Your account has two sets of details: the account (billing) details that appear on invoices, and your personal login (the email and password you sign in with). If you are the account owner they are often the same person, but they are edited in slightly different places.

Change your billing name, company, address or phone

  1. Log in at app.fimurohost.com.
  2. Open the account menu at the top right of the client area (it shows your name, for example Hello, Rahim!) and choose Account Details (on some screens this is labelled Your Profile or Edit Account Details).
  3. Update the fields you need: first and last name, company name, address lines, city, state or division, postcode, country and phone number.
  4. If the page has an Email Preferences section, check which types of email the account receives (see the tips below).
  5. Click Save Changes. A green confirmation message appears at the top.

New invoices use the updated details straight away. If you need an invoice that was already issued to show new details (for example, you forgot to add your company name), open a ticket with the invoice number and we’ll check what we can do.

Change the email address you log in with

  1. Open the account menu and choose Your Profile.
  2. Enter the new email address and save.
  3. Check the new inbox for a verification email and click the link to confirm the address.

From then on you log in with the new address, and password resets are sent there. Make sure you can receive email at the new address before you change it.

If you only want invoices to go to a different person as well (for example your accountant), you don’t need to change your login. Add them as a Contact instead and choose which emails they receive.

What you can’t change yourself

ChangeWhat to do
Account currency (USD, BDT or INR)The currency is set when the account is created. Open a ticket and our team will advise; it usually has to be done when there are no unpaid invoices.
Transfer the whole account to a new ownerOpen a ticket from the current owner’s login explaining the change. We may ask both parties to confirm.
Merge two accountsOpen a ticket from both accounts listing the services to move.
Domain owner (registrant) detailsThese are separate from your account details. Change them under Domains → My Domains → select the domain → Contact Information, where available.

Tips

  • Use an email that doesn’t depend on your hosting. If your login email is on a domain hosted with us and that service is ever suspended, you may not receive the email explaining why. A Gmail or Outlook address, or a contact with one, avoids this.
  • Keep invoice and domain emails switched on. Turning them off in Email Preferences doesn’t stop invoices from being due or domains from expiring; it only means you won’t be told.
  • Enter phone numbers with the country code, for example +8801XXXXXXXXX, so we can reach you from anywhere.
  • Changing your country or address doesn’t change prices or your currency by itself.

Common problems

  • “Email address already in use”: another login already uses that address, perhaps an old account of yours. Contact us and we’ll help you sort it out.
  • Some fields can’t be edited: certain details may be locked to protect the account. Open a ticket with the correct details and we’ll update them after confirming your identity.
  • The save button shows an error about a required field: scroll up; the field with the problem is highlighted in red.
