When your website connects out to another service, such as a payment gateway, an API, an SMS provider or a remote database, that service sees a different IP address from the one visitors use to reach your site. This is because incoming and outgoing traffic travel through separate parts of our network.
Current outbound addresses
| Traffic from | IP addresses |
|---|---|
| Your website (shared hosting) | 185.151.28.62, 185.151.28.63, 45.8.227.175, 45.8.227.176 |
| Scheduled tasks (cron jobs) | 185.151.28.61, 45.8.227.174 |
Whitelist the ranges, not single addresses
These individual addresses can change without notice. To avoid your integration breaking, allow these whole ranges instead:
185.151.28.0/24 45.8.227.0/24
Tips
- Some services only accept individual IPs. In that case add all of the addresses above, for both the website and scheduled tasks.
- If a connection suddenly starts being refused, check whether the other service has changed its firewall, then contact us to confirm the current addresses.
- These addresses are current at the time of writing. Ask support if you need confirmation before submitting them to a third party.
