PayPal is a convenient way for customers outside Bangladesh and India to pay FimuroHost invoices, using a PayPal balance or a card linked to your PayPal account. You pick PayPal on the invoice, approve the payment on PayPal’s site, and return to your invoice, which is marked paid automatically.

PayPal is one of the methods currently offered, and it appears in the payment dropdown of the invoices it can be used for. If you are in Bangladesh, EPS or BanglaQR is usually the simpler choice, because PayPal accounts are not generally available there.

Before you start

  • A PayPal account in good standing, with a confirmed email address and a linked card or enough balance.
  • Know your invoice currency. If it differs from your PayPal or card currency, PayPal converts it and shows you the exact amount before you approve.

Step by step

  1. Log in at app.fimurohost.com, go to Billing → My Invoices and open the unpaid invoice.
  2. Choose PayPal in the payment method dropdown.
  3. Click the PayPal payment button. You are taken to PayPal’s secure website.
  4. Log in to PayPal. If PayPal offers card payment without an account in your country, you can use that instead.
  5. Check the amount, currency and funding source, then click to complete the payment.
  6. Wait to be redirected back to FimuroHost. Your invoice should show Paid, and you will receive confirmation emails from both PayPal and us.

If PayPal offers a subscription

For some recurring services, you may see an option to set up a PayPal subscription, which pays future renewals automatically. If you use it:

  • Future renewals are taken from PayPal when due, so keep your PayPal funding source valid.
  • If you cancel or change the service, also cancel the subscription in PayPal (Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments), otherwise PayPal may keep sending payments.
  • If you prefer to pay each invoice yourself, simply choose the one-off payment option.

Common problems

ProblemWhat to do
Invoice shows Payment PendingThe payment is still clearing, usually because it was funded from a bank account (eCheck). This can take several business days; the invoice is marked paid once PayPal completes it.
You closed the window before being redirectedCheck PayPal’s activity page. If it shows completed, wait 15 minutes and refresh the invoice. Still unpaid? Open a ticket with the PayPal transaction ID.
PayPal declined the cardConfirm the card in PayPal, check that it allows international online payments, or add another funding source.
The amount is slightly different from the invoiceThat is PayPal’s currency conversion. The invoice itself is settled in its own currency.
PayPal isn’t in the dropdownIt may not be available for that invoice’s currency. Use another method shown, or ask us.

Tips

  • Keep the PayPal transaction ID from PayPal’s receipt until the invoice shows Paid.
  • Always start the payment from your invoice. Never send money to a PayPal address given to you in a message; our genuine payment link is always on the invoice.
  • Don’t open a PayPal dispute for a billing question before talking to us. We can usually resolve it faster through a ticket, and refunds follow our refund policy.
