BanglaQR is Bangladesh’s shared QR payment standard. If the BanglaQR option appears on your invoice, you can pay by scanning the code with an app that supports it, such as bKash, Nagad, Rocket or many bank apps. It is quick, and you never type card details anywhere.
BanglaQR may not be shown on every invoice. If you don’t see it in the payment dropdown, use one of the other methods listed, such as EPS.
Before you start
- The invoice must be in Taka (BDT).
- Have an app that can scan BanglaQR codes, with enough balance and your PIN.
- If you are paying from a computer, open the invoice there and scan the screen with your phone. If you are paying on the same phone, see the tip below about saving the QR code.
Step by step
- Log in at app.fimurohost.com, go to Billing → My Invoices and open the unpaid invoice.
- Choose BanglaQR from the payment method dropdown. A QR code and the amount to pay are displayed.
- On your phone, open bKash, Nagad, Rocket or your banking app and choose Scan QR (sometimes under Pay or QR Pay).
- Scan the code. Check that the merchant name looks right and the amount matches the invoice.
- If the app asks you to type the amount, enter the exact amount shown on the invoice, not a rounded figure.
- Confirm with your PIN. When the app shows success, note the Transaction ID (TrxID).
- Back on the invoice, click the confirmation button (for example I have paid) and enter the transaction ID if you are asked for it.
- The payment is usually confirmed automatically within a couple of minutes, and the invoice changes to Paid.
If the invoice stays pending
- Wait a few minutes and refresh the invoice page.
- Check your app’s history to confirm the payment succeeded and note the TrxID, amount and time.
- Don’t pay a second time.
- Open a support ticket with the invoice number, amount, date and time, the app you used, and the TrxID. A screenshot of the success screen helps (hide your balance if you prefer). We will match it and mark the invoice paid.
Common problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The app won’t scan the code | Increase screen brightness, zoom the page so the code fills more of the screen, and clean the camera. Make sure the app supports BanglaQR. |
| You paid a different amount | If you paid less, the invoice shows a remaining balance to pay. If you paid more, tell us in a ticket so we can sort out the difference. |
| You used an old QR code | Each invoice has its own code. Contact us with the TrxID and the invoice you meant to pay. |
| The payment failed in the app but money was deducted | This is normally reversed by your wallet or bank. Check with them and keep the reference. |
Tips
- Paying on the same phone: take a screenshot of the QR code, then use your app’s option to scan from gallery or photos, if it has one.
- Pay one invoice per scan. To combine invoices, use Billing → Mass Payment first and pay the combined invoice.
- Always start from the invoice inside your client area. Don’t pay QR codes sent to you in messages or emails.
Never share an OTP, PIN or password with anyone, including anyone who says they are from FimuroHost. We will never ask for them. Enter them only on your bank’s, wallet’s or the payment gateway’s own page or app.
