No. FimuroHost Cloud Hosting plans cannot run Node.js applications, including apps built with Express. There is no add-on to buy that enables it on these plans.
Why not?
Cloud Hosting is built for PHP websites and static sites served by a shared web platform. A Node.js app runs as its own always-on process listening on a port, which a shared hosting environment doesn't provide.
Your options
- A VPS. With a virtual private server you control the whole machine. You can install Node.js, run your app with a process manager and put a web server in front of it.
- A dedicated Node.js platform. Cloud providers such as AWS and other application platforms can host Node.js apps directly.
- Split the project. If your front end builds to static files (for example a React or Vue app), you can upload those files to Cloud Hosting and run only the Node.js API elsewhere.
What does work on Cloud Hosting
- Static HTML, CSS and JavaScript sites, including sites built with static site generators
- PHP sites and applications such as WordPress
- Using Node.js on your own computer to build assets, then uploading the result
