Account credit is money held in your FimuroHost account that can be used to pay invoices. You can top it up in advance with Add Funds, which is handy if you have several services renewing at different times or want to pay once and not think about small invoices for a while.

Where account credit comes from

  • Add Funds: money you deposit yourself.
  • Downgrades: when you move to a cheaper plan, the unused difference is added as credit.
  • Adjustments: for example an overpayment that we add to your balance.

Your current credit balance is shown in the client area, for example in the side panel on billing pages and on the invoice page when you have credit available.

Add funds to your account

  1. Log in at app.fimurohost.com.
  2. Go to Billing → Add Funds (or open the Add Funds page directly).
  3. Read the limits shown at the top: the minimum deposit, maximum deposit and maximum credit balance.
  4. Enter the amount you want to add, within those limits.
  5. Choose a payment method and click Add Funds.
  6. An invoice for the deposit is created. Pay it the usual way; once it is paid, the amount is added to your credit balance.

If Add Funds isn’t shown or says it isn’t available, your account may need an active service first. Ask us if you need it enabled.

Use credit on an invoice

  1. Open the unpaid invoice from Billing → My Invoices.
  2. In the Apply Credit box, which appears when you have a balance, enter the amount to use. It is pre-filled with the most you can apply.
  3. Click Apply Credit.
  4. If the credit covers the full amount, the invoice is marked paid. If not, the invoice total is reduced and you pay the rest with any method shown.

Depending on current settings, credit may also be applied automatically when new invoices are created, such as renewals. Check your invoices to see whether credit was used.

Example

StepBalance
You add $23.03 with Add FundsCredit: $23.03
A hosting renewal invoice of $13.82 arrives; you apply creditCredit: $9.21; invoice paid
A domain renewal invoice of $11.52 arrives; you apply $9.21 creditCredit: $0.00; pay the remaining $2.30 with EPS

These figures are only an example, not our prices.

Good to know

  • Credit is held in your account currency (USD, BDT or INR) and can only be used within your FimuroHost account.
  • Credit is intended for future invoices. Whether any unused credit can be refunded is covered by our refund policy.
  • Credit doesn’t pay an invoice by itself unless it is applied, either by you or automatically. Keep an eye on invoices near their due date.
  • You can apply credit to a combined invoice created with Billing → Mass Payment.

Common problems

  • “Amount is below the minimum” or “above the maximum”: enter an amount within the limits shown, or make two deposits if you need more (within the maximum balance).
  • Deposit invoice paid, but balance unchanged: refresh after a few minutes. If it hasn’t changed, check the deposit invoice shows Paid and contact us with its number.
  • No Apply Credit box on the invoice: your credit balance is zero, or the invoice is itself a deposit invoice, which can’t be paid with credit.
