Using WP-CLI with Your FimuroHost WordPress Site

Yes, WP-CLI (the WordPress command-line interface) is available on FimuroHost Cloud Hosting. It is included by default with every WordPress installation, so there is nothing to request or install.

WP-CLI lets you manage WordPress from a terminal: update plugins, create users, change URLs or clear caches without clicking through the dashboard.

How to reach WP-CLI

Log in to your FimuroHost client area, go to Services, select your hosting plan and click Login to Control Panel / StackCP.
Set up SSH access for the site in StackCP (look for the SSH access section) and note the host and username shown.
Connect from your computer with a terminal, for example ssh username@host. On Windows you can use Windows Terminal or PuTTY.
Change into your site's folder (usually public_html) with cd public_html.
Run wp --info to confirm WP-CLI responds.

Tip: use an SSH key rather than a password where StackCP offers the option. It is both safer and quicker.

Changing URLs safely

When moving a site to a new domain, a search and replace updates links stored in posts and settings. Always do a dry run first:

wp search-replace 'https://old-address.com' 'https://new-address.com' --dry-run
wp search-replace 'https://old-address.com' 'https://new-address.com'

Tips

Take a backup (wp db export) before bulk updates or search-and-replace.
If a plugin locks you out of wp-admin, deactivating it with WP-CLI is often the quickest fix.
Run wp help or wp help <command> to see every option.
