If your FimuroHost email sends and receives fine on your iPhone or iPad but you can only see the Inbox — not your other folders — the IMAP Path Prefix setting is usually to blame.

Fix the IMAP Path Prefix

  1. Open Settings. On recent iOS versions go to Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts; on older versions go to Mail → Accounts.
  2. Tap your FimuroHost email account.
  3. Tap Account, then Advanced.
  4. Find IMAP Path Prefix near the bottom of the screen.
  5. Either leave the field empty or enter INBOX (in capital letters).
  6. Go back through the screens, tapping Account and then Done to save.
  7. Open the Mail app and pull down to refresh. Your folders should now appear.

Still no folders?

If the prefix was already correct, or the fix didn't help, remove and re-add the account:

  1. In the same account screen, tap Delete Account. Because you use IMAP, your email stays safely on the server.
  2. Add the account again using imap.stackmail.com for incoming mail and smtp.stackmail.com for outgoing mail.

Tips

  • Make sure the account type is IMAP, not POP. POP accounts never show server folders.
  • Folders created in webmail or on another device can take a moment to appear. Close and reopen Mail if needed.
  • To choose which folders iOS uses for Sent, Drafts and Deleted items, go to Account → Advanced → Mailbox Behaviours.
