Domain Registration Policy

1. General

FimuroHost registers domain names through accredited registrars and the registries that manage each extension (for example .com, .net, .org, .xyz and country-code domains). Every registration is also subject to the rules of that registry and, for generic extensions, ICANN policies — including the ICANN Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities.

2. Registrant details

You must give accurate registrant contact details and keep them up to date. Registries may suspend a domain whose details are false or cannot be verified. Some registries publish part of this data in WHOIS/RDAP; we enable free privacy protection wherever the extension allows it.

3. Registration

A domain is registered only after payment and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis — it is not yours until the registry confirms the registration. Premium domains and some extensions cost more and are priced separately. Registrations cannot be cancelled or refunded once completed, and misspelled domains cannot be changed.

4. Renewal and expiry

• Renewal invoices are sent before the expiry date. Please pay them in time — a domain that expires stops working, together with the website and email that use it.
• After expiry most extensions have a grace period in which the domain can still be renewed at the normal price, followed by a redemption period in which a registry restore fee applies.
• After the redemption period the domain is deleted by the registry and may be registered by anyone.

5. Transfers

• To transfer a domain to us you need its authorisation (EPP) code and the domain must be unlocked at the current registrar. A transfer normally adds one year to the registration.
• Domains cannot usually be transferred within 60 days of registration, a previous transfer, or a change of registrant, due to registry rules.
• You can transfer a domain away from us at any time after these periods: ask for the EPP code from the client area or support, provided the domain is active and has no unpaid invoices.

6. Disputes and misuse

Disputes about who is entitled to a domain are handled under the registry's rules, such as the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) for generic domains. We follow the decisions of courts, registries and dispute providers. Domains used for phishing, malware or other abuse may be suspended under our Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Free domain with hosting

Where a plan includes a free domain for the first year, it applies to a new registration of the listed extensions while the hosting plan is paid for a yearly or longer period. The domain renews at the regular price. If the hosting is refunded, see our Refund Policy.
