If your email address uses one of the domain extensions listed below, you'll get an error when you try to send mail through our outgoing server (smtp.stackmail.com). This is intentional, not a fault with your settings.
Which domain extensions are affected?
Authenticated SMTP sending is currently not allowed for addresses on these extensions:
.tk.ml.ga.cf.gq.eu.org.com.ng
This list can change; ask support if you're unsure whether your domain is affected.
Why is this blocked?
Free and very low-cost domain extensions are widely abused to send spam and phishing. When spam leaves a shared mail platform, it can get the platform's servers blocklisted, which hurts delivery for every customer. To keep our mail servers trusted by Gmail, Outlook and others, authenticated SMTP is only accepted from domains on paid, non-free extensions.
FimuroHost only hosts legal content and does not allow spam, so these measures help keep the whole platform clean.
What you can do
- Use a paid domain for email. Register a domain such as
.com,.net,.orgor.com.bdand create your mailboxes on it. Some FimuroHost plans include a free .COM domain. - Keep the free domain for the website only. Your site can stay on the free extension while your email runs on a paid domain.
