You will need your hosting IP address if your domain's DNS is managed somewhere other than FimuroHost (for example at another registrar or at Cloudflare), or if you want to test your site with a hosts file entry.
Find the IP address
- Log in to your FimuroHost client area at app.fimurohost.com.
- Go to Services and select your hosting plan.
- Click Login to Control Panel / StackCP. StackCP opens for that website.
- Look at the Account Information panel on the right-hand side of the page.
- You will see both an IPv4 and an IPv6 address.
For most DNS changes you only need the IPv4 address. Adding an AAAA record with the IPv6 address as well is optional.
Using the IP in external DNS
At your DNS provider, create or edit these records:

Tips
- The simplest option is to use our nameservers,
ns1.stackdns.comandns2.stackdns.com. DNS records are then created and kept up to date for you. - The address your site uses when it connects out to other services is different. See our guide on outbound IP addresses.
